Anthony DeCarolis / Founder & Tattoo Artist

White Ghost is a private tattoo studio in Industry City, Brooklyn specializing in custom tattoos. Our goal is to create timeless, one-of-a-kind pieces designed specifically for each individual. All of our work has a strong connection to the past – with a modern twist.

Anthony is the studio founder & tattoo artist. His mission is to make contemporary tattoos that pay respect to the craft and history of traditional tattooing. Before tattooing, Anthony worked as a marketing Executive Creative Director at the world’s best advertising agencies and design houses. As the lead creative on global brands, he’s made several Super Bowl commercials and was even nominated for an EMMY.

DeCarolis Ink & White Ghost works collaboratively with every client to create custom designs based on specific client input.

White Ghost / Founder & CEO

Throughout his career, Ghost has left an indelible mark on the business landscape. While he was alive in the early 1900s he owned and operated the first ever freak show in Coney Island called “The House Of Revulsion” on Surf Avenue. His sideshow went on to garner national acclaim and was sold to P.T. Barnum in 1921 for $17,000 (which actually was a shitload of money back then). Sadly, later that year he died in a tragic accident when he was eaten alive by Dog-Face Boy. He spent the next 100 years haunting attics, rattling chains and moaning. But in October of 2023 he realized he was meant to do more than just aimlessly roaming random graveyards — so he took the $17,000 he made from P.T. Barnum and opened a tattoo studio with Anthony in Brooklyn.
